Your team wants to make breakthrough scientific discoveries.
I’ll help you get there.
As a statistical consultant, I help research teams build advanced statistical models, develop data plans, and overcome roadblocks.
I work with a range of projects, but have specialized expertise in bioinformatics, (particularly genomics), neuroscience, and psychology.
Finally, I love to give back by providing academic consulting for students and early career scientists.

How I Help
Statistical & Research Consulting
I’ve developed scientific and statistical software independently, as the leader of teams, and as a consultant. I advise on statistical methodology for academic, individual, and industry clients. As a researcher, I employ a variety of analytic techniques but have particularly strong expertise in multi-omics analysis, statistical power, cluster and factor analysis, and modeling within-subject data across time (e.g., longitudinal, repeated measures/time series).
In addition to providing in-the-trenches coding and analysis, I can advise on the creation and refinement of infrastructure, whether for empirical research or software development projects. I’ve led and collaborated on teams in a variety of roles and organizational structures and environments. I’ve both personally conducted and directed infrastructure development, including team communication and project management tools, strategic planning, quality control and testing systems, technological infrastructure selection and implementation, hiring and personnel development and training strategies, and more.
Bioinfomatics Consulting
My most recent research has focused on immune-mediated diseases and aging. I have extensive research experience in clinical neuroscience and gastroenterology, and I’ve collaborated with scientists from a broad range of other fields (e.g., pulmonology, hepatic disease).
I have expertise in single-cell multi-omics — both as a software developer and research project lead — with a particular emphasis on spatial transcriptomics (including integrating downstream and complementary workflows such as histopathology or CRISPR).
Dissertation & Academic Consulting
Finally, I’ve been heavily involved in public speaking, teaching, and mentoring for 17 years. I’ve been on both sides of the application process and interview table for college, graduate school, and jobs. I’ve taught and/or mentored at the pre-college (elementary, middle, and high school), undergraduate, and graduate levels and can provide tutoring and guidance in admissions, testing, interviewing, and academic and career planning. One of my specialties is assisting neurodivergent folks to succeed in academic settings.
I feel strongly about paying forward all the help I’ve received, so I reserve part of my time for reduced rates and pro bono work. I encourage those with budgetary limitations (particularly students, non-profits, and researchers in underfunded areas) to inquire about availability.
